Heidi’s Name?

Well, Weimaraners are German dogs, by descent, so we thought it would be appropriate to give her a good, solid, German name, and Heidi sounded perfect! Besides, this author grew up with a Weimaraner named Heidi, so it was sort of like a tribute to the old Heidi. (She was an amazing dog.)
